Music At The Market
This week's Music at the Market is Stephanie! Stephanie’s passion for sharing her music and connecting with her audience is palpable. Playing guitar or ukulele and singing powerful and heartfelt vocals, she performs covers and her original music.
A huge thank you to the Bremerton Office Machine Company for sponsoring this program. See you at the market!
Ukulele Workshop
This week, the market will be introducing a new monthly activity. At 5:30pm, Bremerton's own Kitsap Ukulele Peace Revival will be offering a free Introduction To Ukulele Workshop. This workshop will be hosted by local musician teachers, Aaron McFadden and Hannah Wandling and will cover the basics, such as tuning the instrument, how to read tablature, open chords, understanding time and tempo, and how to play with others. There will be a set of songs for everyone to play and sing together, followed by a Student Feature Showcase, introducing new musical talents to the community. You don't have to own a ukulele to participate...they will have instruments to borrow for the workshop. This will take place the last Thursday of the month through September.
