Meet Daphne, the creative force behind Practical Sewing, a handmade goods shop based in downtown Bremerton! For the past 15 years, she’s been sewing everything from cozy quilts and receiving blankets to adorable dress sets for girls and dolls, grocery totes, and custom doll diaper bags.

Daphne started Practical Sewing as her kids were growing up, turning a lifelong love of sewing (taught by her mom at age 9!) into a thriving small business. Today, she sews from her peaceful studio and runs a downtown Bremerton storefront by appointment or limited Friday and Saturday hours.
