The Bremerton Community Farmers Market hosted a Grow-A-Row Donation Station from Kitsap Harvest this year from the beginning of June to the end of the market in September. During that time Kitsap Harvest collected 925 lbs of produce donated by the farms at the market and individuals who picked from their garden to give to their neighbor. All produce donated was distributed to senior centers, recovery centers, homeless youth and veteran programs and other groups and organizations around Kitsap County.
We at Kitsap Harvest are so grateful for the kindness of our community to help bring so much fresh, local, nutritious, good food to the good people we serve.
