Guest Artist at the Market
We are so fortunate to have Bremerton artist Onaytonie Johnson joining our market with her bold expressive work celebrating color, culture and confidence. Fall in love her joyful and lush art which is available in beautiful prints and custom order sweatshirts perfect for the start of Fall too.
Many thanks to market bestie the Bremerton Black Market for introducing us to her fantastic art!
And if you get a chance, swing by the Bremerton Foodline where she is creating a 24 foot “The Harvest of Love” mural honoring Ms. Troy’s Garden which was lovingly rebuilt this year to provide fresh produce and joy to all who visit.

`Guest Vendor at the Market
Hey everyone! Today, Thursday, September 24th, we have a special end-of-season visit from the winners of Taste of Kitsap and the Best South Kitsap New Restaurant Opened in 2026 - Jamaica Mi Hungry Kitchen. You'll fall in love with their authentic Jamaican dishes, crafted with pride and consistency!
Let's give them a warm welcome at the farmers market so they'll return next season!
"If you’ve been waiting for a good plate of slow‑braised, richly seasoned Jamaican food, this is your day. Bring your appetite, bring your family, and come enjoy an afternoon of bold flavors and good vibes."

Community Booths at the Market
Be sure and stop by one of the many community booths at the market this week:
Bremerton Boys & Girls Club - South Puget Sound - Boys & Girls Clubs give kids a place to call their own, where they can have fun, get a hot meal, be creative, be part of a team, get help with homework, and hang out with friends. They offer safe, fun, and inspiring places that kids and their families count on every day.
Kitsap911 - Kitsap 911 began operating as a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Kitsap County in 1976 as a department under Kitsap County. Referred then as Kitsap County Central Communication or CENCOM, they provided 911 call taking and dispatching for all the police and fire agencies in Kitsap County.
Kitsap Fresh - Kitsap Fresh is a food hub and producer-owned cooperative providing an online marketplace where local farmers and producers sell and customers access source-identified products on the Kitsap Peninsula.
In addition, Kitsap Fresh exists to support and develop new farmers, including non-traditional farmers.
Kitsap Harvest - Feeding families from front yards, food banks, farms, and...farmers markets. How can you help?
PAWS of Bremerton - Learn about cat adoptions, how to find a veterinarian, and lower price flea treatments.
WSU Master Gardeners - Volunteers who are actively engaged in teaching research-based gardening and environmental stewardship practices.

Park it at the Market
We know finding a spot to park for the market isn't always easy so wanted to share a place to park you might not know about and a few places to watch out for.
Our neighbors just a couple blocks away on Park Street, Kitsap Community Resources (KCR), have very graciously allowed parking in their lot after 4:30pm. We greatly appreciate their generosity to us and our community where they do so much for so many!
CJ's Evergreen General Store is another fantastic advocate of our market and community, please remember that the 30-minute parking directly in front of the store is for their customers only.
And we kindly ask you to be considerate neighbors by parking only in designated areas. Note that the boating area has only four designated parking spots for market parking. Vehicles parked outside these four spots in the boating area may be ticketed by Parking Enforcement. Yikes!
Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing you for another stellar market day!

Kitsap Harvest at the Market
The mission at Kitsap Harvest is to minimize produce waste and provide fresh, nutritious, and locally sourced fruits and vegetables directly to low-income housing, senior centers, recovery facilities, shelters, and soup kitchens within Kitsap County. The Grow-A-Row program bolsters this mission by inviting gardeners of all levels, from experts to enthusiasts, to cultivate and contribute surplus produce. Weekly donation stations are established throughout the county for collections, including at the Bremerton Community Farmers Market.
Engage in the fight against food insecurity and food waste by supporting the growth of Kitsap County's capacity for sustainable, community driven care. For additional details, visit Programs – Kitsap Harvest or inquire at the market's information booth.
